The University men’s lacrosse program enters its third season of competition in the Liberty Conference of the NCLL. The Hawks, in their first season under head coach Jerry Dohn, went 2-0 in fall competitions in 2011, notching a 5-4 win against Rowan and a 7-6 victory over preseason #12 TCNJ.

Led by senior captains Vin Sodano, Joe Milano, and Michael Asprocolas, the Hawks seek their first ever playoff berth and look to compete for the Liberty Conference Championship.

Be sure to witness the team’s rise to national prominence this spring in home contests against Rutgers-Camden, Rowan, LaSalle, Cabrini, Arcadia, TCNJ, St. Joseph’s, Temple, Delaware Valley, and Rider. GO HAWKS!

ALI is sending a warm welcome back to the University’s returning students and newcomers!

Just a reminder that ALI meets every Wednesday on the third floor of the Student Center (in the corner near the Affilitoconference room)at 3:30 pm.

We have a lot of exciting events and fun social gathers this semester including our fabulous, annual drag show and so much more!

Come check us out, we are always doing something entertaining and getting everyone involved!

Begin by Believing

Begin by Believing is having a general club meeting Wednesday, February 1 at 3:30 pm in the student center’s carol affiliate conference room. We will be talking about spring events.

Alpha Xi Delta

Welcome back to another exciting semester! We hope everyone had a fantastic break.

Just a reminder that Formal Spring Recruitment is January 27-29!

We encourage all eligible girls interested to come out and see what all the sororities have to offer!

Outdoors Club

Welcome back! I hope you all had an excellent break and are ready to get back into Outdoors Club.

We will be having a meeting this Wednesday, January 25 at 3:30 pm in Bey Hall Room 132.

We will discuss many things including a hike this Saturday, indoor rock climbing/bouldering, paintballing, cross country skiing, a polar bear plunge and fundraising ideas.

We will also discuss our potential spring trip to Gettysburg and will have our new Outdoors Club t-shirts for sale.

Please make every effort to attend so we can gauge interest for the spring trip and discuss potential ideas that you might have for the semester.

Lambda Theta Alpha

Lambda Theta Alpha will be having a few events for the month of January.

First we will be at Meet the Greeks on January 24. Also, we are having an information social for ladies that are interested in learning more about us and our chapter on January 31. Location and times will be announced.

February 21, we are having an event called Meet the Lambdas where both Lambda Theta Alpha Latin sorority, Incorporated and Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Incorporated will be present.

Debate Team

The Debate Team and will be having their second annual Monmouth University Debate Tournament on campus the weekend of January 28.

Monmouth Review

The Monmouth Review is hosting a release party open mic in the lobby of Edison Hall on Saturday January 28 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Bring your poems and guitars and come pick up a copy of the new magazine! Hope to see you there.
