Cinema Club

The Cinema Club would like to announce that for November the club will be will be showing action movies all month long. They will be starting this Wednesday, Nov. 2 in JP138 at 7:30 p.m. and they will be screening the original Point Break film, directed by Kathryn Bigelow. The club hopes that you can make it!

Monmouth University Oral Communication Club (MOCC)

Did you know public speaking is the #1 fear in America? Fight the fear with the Monmouth University’s Oral Communication Center (MOCC).

MOCC offers free peer tutoring for presentations and public speaking! Our walk-in schedule is posted outside of JP 203 or contact our tutor supervisor, Chris Brady, at s0970072@monmouth.edu to schedule an appointment.

Our club is here to help you achieve feats that you never once thought achievable!

The Outlook

The Outlook is looking for students interested in writing for the student-run newspaper. Sections include News, Opinion, Politics, Lifestyles, Features, Entertainment, Club & Greek, and Sports. No prior experience is necessary. The Outlook fulfills practicum.

Intramural Dodgeball

The Intramural Dodgeball Leage is searching to members to create a 6 v 6 Men’s, Women’s, and CoRec (3 men/3 women) League. They are also looking ot make Women’s and CoRec Teams! Winning teams have a chance to represent Monmouth at Rowan University.

Students Advocating Girls’ Education (SAGE)

SAGE is dedicated to equal access to education and the betterment of the campus community through social justice, gender equality, and feminism. SAGE hosts a number of events on campus to raise money and donate to organizations and communities which improve access to quality education for women and girls, both locally and globally. They also increase campus awareness of social issues and current events pertaining to women’s rights. The Shadow PR Firm and PRSSA Host Alumni Day With Don Povia and Tiffany Miller

West Long Branch, NJ- Monmouth University Alum, Don Povia and Tiffany Miller, will be guest speakers for the University’s Shadow PR Firm and Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) Chapter’s Alumni Day. The event will take place during the PRSSA meeting on Wednesday, April 30 at 2:30 pm in room 234 of Plangere Center.
