After 10 years of strong leader­ship, the former University presi­dent, Paul G. Gaffney retired from his position and Dr. Paul Brown was welcomed as the new Univer­sity president during a ceremony at Wilson Hall on July 31.

Monmouth University Selected as One of Three Finalists in Competition

The University’s Comparative Entrepreneurship course, taught by specialist professor John Buzza, was selected as one of the top three finalists in a national competition sponsored by the United States Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE) for special recognition in entrepreneurship education and innovation. 

Jean-Michael Cousteau, Famed Ocean Explorer, Honored at Ocean Symposium

Jean-Michel Cousteau, President of Ocean Futures Society, was the symposium distinguished lecturer and winner of the National Ocean Champion Award. Cousteau spoke of his work, much of which is inspired by his father, Jacques Cousteau.
