Baseball: The baseball team picked up their first win of the 2017 season behind senior right hander Ricky Dennis, who allowed two runs over six innings. Senior first baseman Shaine Hughes led the offense with three hits and scoring two runs. Senior southpaw Justin Andrews hurled the final three innings and allowed only two hits. The blue and white return to the diamond in the Notre Dame Irish Classic on Friday afternoon in Cary, NC at 1:00 p.m. vs. William and Mary.

Baseball Scores Five in Ninth to Defeat Penn State
Following a three-game sweep at the hands of #11 Dallas Baptist to open the season, the Monmouth University baseball team collected its first two wins of the season during the Penn State Tournament this past weekend in Cary, NC.
