Baseball: The baseball team picked up their first win of the 2017 season behind senior right hander Ricky Dennis, who allowed two runs over six innings. Senior first baseman Shaine Hughes led the offense with three hits and scoring two runs. Senior southpaw Justin Andrews hurled the final three innings and allowed only two hits. The blue and white return to the diamond in the Notre Dame Irish Classic on Friday afternoon in Cary, NC at 1:00 p.m. vs. William and Mary.

Women’s Basketball Drops to 0-2 on Season
On Thursday Nov. 14, the University’s women’s basketball team lost to the Wagner Seahawks, 70-57 in the Multipurpose Activity Center. The loss moves the Hawks to 0-2 for the season while Wagner breaks even at 1-1. Senior forward Chevannah Paalvast led MU in scoring with a double-double compiling 22 points and 10 rebounds.

Football Earns Second Consecutive Win
The Monmouth Hawks record stands at 3-3 as they receive their second consecutive win against the Hampton Pirates (3-3).
