Baseball: The baseball team picked up their first win of the 2017 season behind senior right hander Ricky Dennis, who allowed two runs over six innings. Senior first baseman Shaine Hughes led the offense with three hits and scoring two runs. Senior southpaw Justin Andrews hurled the final three innings and allowed only two hits. The blue and white return to the diamond in the Notre Dame Irish Classic on Friday afternoon in Cary, NC at 1:00 p.m. vs. William and Mary.

Men’s Tennis Wins Regular Season Championship

Men’s Tennis won their fifth-straight Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Regular Season Championship after defeating Marist, 6-1, in West Long Branch last Wednesday before defeating Niagara 7-0 in their final game of the regular season on Saturday.

Senior forward Trish O’Dwyer was named to the 2014 Longstreth/NFHCA All-American Third Team this past Monday Dec, 1. O’Dwyer, who was also named the MAAC Player and Offensive Player of the year, is the first field hockey player to be named an All-American in MU history.
