This Friday, Oct. 24, the Department of Communication will host a special 20th anniversary screening of Shadows of Shadow Lawn. This documentary explores alleged hauntings in some of Monmouth University’s most iconic buildings, including the Great Hall, Woods Theatre, and Guggenheim Memorial Library.
Produced by Monmouth alumni Tom Hanley and Patrick Perotto in 2005, the film will be shown in the Plangere Center, Room 236, beginning at 7 p.m. (with overflow seating available in Room 235). The event, hosted by Professor Aaron Furgason’s Radio Station Management class alongside WMCX, HawkTV, HawkInteractive, and CommWorks, will feature immersive surprises throughout the Plangere building.
Miles Humphrey, a junior communications major and a student in Furgason’s Radio Station Management class shared that the class has been working hard to put this event together.
Attendees can expect “There will be surprises throughout Plangere, visual graphics, costumes, free t-shirts (while they last), and candy! Hope to see you there,” said Furgason. For more information, visit the social media pages for WMCX or the Department of Communication.
