The men’s basketball team defeated Fairleigh Dickinson 73-54 Thursday night due to excellent play from their starting guards. Dion Nesmith, Christian White and Jesse Steele combined for 51 points and 11 assists.

The Northeast Conference (NEC) Council of Presidents voted and did not allow the University to be an associate member for football and bowling.
Congratulations to the Hawks, who were selected by Northeast Conference (NEC) coaches to be members of the All-NEC teams. Tight end Tyler George, guard Mike Hunchak and linebacker Dan Sullivan were all voted to the First Team All-NEC. Wide receiver Tristan Roberts, guard Dino Molina and defensive lineman Chris Luma were each named to the Second Team All-NEC.
The men’s basketball team won its fourth straight game Monday night with a 77-65 win over Binghamton.
The men’s basketball team competed in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic last week with three games last week at the GSU Sports Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The Hawks lost their first game against Georgia State and then went on to beat South Alabama and Tennessee State.
The men’s basketball team beat Lafayette 65-60 on Monday behind 18 points from Jesse Steele and Andrew Nicholas.
The football team ended the 2012 season with a win over Northeast Conference rival Robet Morris 26-21.
The men’s basketball team opened the season with a 91-62 win over Hofstra on Friday night as Andrew Nicholas scored a career-high 28 points.
The football team found a way to spoil the Homecoming celebration on Saturday at Kessler Field. The sun was shining, more than 4,000 fans were tailgating and the 1-6 Bryant team stood across the field. When the final whistle blew, the Bulldogs (2-6, 2-4) had won 27-24.
The football team lost 41-38 against Cornell on Saturday.
