Women’s LAX Finish 2014 Under .500
In the 2014 regular season finale the blue and white (8-9; 5-3 MACC) stunned the Marist Red Foxes (13-3; 7-1 MAAC) as they handed them their first conference loss on Saturday by the final score of 12-11.
Men’s Lax: Winless
The men’s lacrosse team lost to visiting Marist College in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference showdown on Saturday, April 19 by a final score of 12-9.
LAX Cannot Overcome Deficit
The women’s lacrosse team rallied from a seven point deficit, but ultimately lost to the Drexel University Dragons 9-6, on Saturday, April 12 in their final non-conference game of the season. With the loss, MU falls to 6-7 (3-1 MAAC) as Drexel improves to 6-7 (1-1 CAA.)

Lacrosse Teams Still Look For Wins
On Saturday, April 5, the women’s lacrosse team snapped their winning streak at four game overall and two in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). The loss was handed to them by the Niagara University Purple Eagles with a final score of 12-8 on Kessler Field.
Women’s Lax Win First MAAC Match
On Saturday, March 29 the women’s lacrosse team defeated the Siena Saints by the final score of 16-9. With the victory, the blue and white improved to 4-5 overall, and are now 1-0 in the MAAC, while Siena fell to 2-8 with an 0-1 MAAC conference record. This game marked the women’s lacrosse team’s inaugural appearance in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
MU Women Make it to Second Round of Playoffs
The women’s basketball team soared past no. 8 Niagara by the final score of 66-62, in the first round of the MAAC Championships on Thursday, March 7. With the win, the Hawks were set to face top-seeded Iona on Friday, March 8. The Purple Eagles ended their season at 10-20.

The women’s lacrosse team overpowered the Wagner Seahawks on Saturday, March 8 at Kessler Field. With the win, the Hawks improve to 1-3 while Wagner falls to 2-3.
Women’s Basketball Finish Season, 7-24
The women’s basketball team split their weekend as they fell to the Marist Red Foxes by the final score of 83-52 on Friday, Feb 28 and defeated the Siena Saints in their final home game of the season on Sunday, March 2. The Hawks regular season record is now solidified at 7-24 (6-14 MAAC).

The women’s lacrosse team lost their second home game of the season, 12-6, to the Lafayette Leopards on Wed., Feb. 26. With the loss, the Hawks decline to 0-3 while the Leopards improve to 2-2.
