Beginning fall 2015, the criteria for students to be named to the Dean’s List will be changed. Rather than the criteria being based on a specific GPA, students’ eligibility for the award will be based on a departmental GPA percentage.

The new convenience store on campus, POD, Provisions on Demand, located in the ‘New Hall’ will take the place of the C-Store that was located in the Rebecca Stafford Student Center. The old C-Store is currently closed and there is much discussion with staff, on what will occupy that space.

The countdown is on – three weeks to spring break. If you are lucky enough to be leaving snowy, dreadfully cold weather, you probably have several pictures of Victoria’s Secret models taped all over your refrigerators for body motivation just in time for that exotic vacation. I am guilty of it too and I’m not even going to be in a bikini anytime soon.
The leaves are falling, the temperature is dropping and Starbucks already has their red holiday cups. This can only mean one thing, winter is right around the corner. Winter is the perfect time to snuggle up in a favorite sweater, sit by the fireplace and drink warm beverages. Although all these activities sound enticing, beauty-wise, the long winter season could be your worst nightmare.
Halloween is right around the corner and those who like to celebrate the holiday like 10 year olds are sure to be costume shopping, hanging up spooky decorations and making festive recipes. One of the great things about Halloween is that it is a holiday that can be fun without having to spend tons of money.
An undeniably great asset to this University is its location. Monmouth is located near surrounding areas that include quaint, quiet towns such as Red Bank and Shrewsbury, beachfront property that includes the popular Pier Village, and Eatontown, which features the Monmouth Mall. Any MU student can’t help but admit that the University is definitely not one of those schools that is “in the middle of nowhere.” This is a dream come true for any shopaholic, especially in trendy, unique boutiques.
Let’s face it – it is hard to deny that those in the public light live extravagant, glamorous lives. I am sure most of us would not have a difficult time accepting the offer to become famous overnight. Although, remembering that living in the public eye entails constant paparazzi stalking, harsh public scrutiny and the spreading of ridiculous rumors might make us think twice before trading in our ordinary, non-famous lives.
In today’s society, tattoos have become more popular and socially accepted. More recently, tattoos have emerged in the media through celebrities and even reality television shows. Tattoos have even become more acceptable in the workplace.
Lately, it seems everywhere one turns, ombré hair can be seen. The sensation of dyeing only part of one’s hair has been rapidly taking over the salon world.
