The field hockey team was shutout 3-0 by Old Dominion, who is ranked 17th, this past Sunday, Sept. 14. With the loss MU falls to 2-3 on the young season. Old Dominion managed to score more goals than the Hawks got off shots, as the blue and white registered only two total shot attempts for the contest.

The women’s soccer team gained thier second consecutive road win as they defeated NJIT, 2-0, on Thursday, Sept. 4. Freshman Rachelle Ross scored her first career goal for the blue and white while senior Alexa Freguletti scored her third goal of the season. Sophomore Alexis McTamney had the assist on both goals.

Undercover Colors. These two words have been put together by four undergraduate students for their new product: a nail polish for women that can detect certain rape-drugs.

The baseball team had a three game sweep over the Temple Owls this past weekend. Winning pitchers were sophomore Frank Trimarco, junior TJ Hunt, and junior Jeff Paglione.
Baseball Loses Series to Fairfield, 6-7 MAAC Record
After coming off a 10-0 win over Farleigh Dickinson on April 16, the baseball team lost their three game series to conference opponent, the Fairfield Stags, at Alumni Diamond in Fairfield, CT.

The baseball team picked up two MAAC weekly awards officials announced on Tuesday.
Baseball Lose Series to Manhattan College
The baseball team lost a three game series to conference opponent, the Manhattan Jaspers, over the weekend. The Hawks are now 9-17 (5-5 MAAC) while the Jaspers improved to 7-23 (4-8 MAAC).
Golf Teams Head to Florida
The University golf teams began their seasons on Sunday, March 16 with the men competing in Port St. Lucie, FL while the women took to Williamsburg, VA. Since the beginning of their spring schedule, both teams post high individual marks in nearly every tournament played.

Teams Break Four School Records
The track and field team set four new school records and had many athletes meet ECAC/IC4A qualification times at the Princeton Quadrangular Meet which they participated in on Saturday, April 12.
