The men’s tennis team defeated Coppin State, 7-0, and Morgan State, 4-0, on Thursday, March 20 and Friday, March 21. The team only dropped two seats in the matches.
MU Baseball Ends 1-2 in Navy Tournament
The baseball team traveled to Max Bishop Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland for a tournament against Towson University, Navy, and University of Pennsylvania this past weekend. With the two losses and one tournament win, the men currently post a 2-7 record.
Men Lose 20-4 Against RU
Lacrosse Off to a Rocky Start
The men’s lacrosse program has started off their inaugural season 0-4 as the Hawks fell 20-4 against Rutgers University at High Point Solutions Stadium on Saturday, March 8.

The women’s bowling team finished 20 out of 29 teams this at the Music City Classic hosted in Nashville, TN this past weekend. The Hawks were led by sophomore Kaitlyn Reth who finished 16th overall with a 201.3 average.

Senior Chevannah Paalvast and freshman Helena Kurt were both named to All-MAAC women’s basketball teams for their play this season. Paalvast received third-team All-MAAC honors while Kurt received a spot on the All-Rookie team.
Monmouth Stadium To Cost $15 Million
The University recently announced plans to construct a new football field, Monmouth Stadium, for the fall 2015 semester. The stadium will host football games, lacrosse games, as well as men’s and women’s track and field events.

MU’s baseball team played in their first series this season against Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton, FL. The team came out strong in the first game pulling away a 5-1 victory but fell in the final two games, 4-0 and 6-5. They will next travel to Charlottesville, Virginia to face no. 1 University of Virginia.
Max DiLeo: The Heart of the Hawks
If you attend a men’s basketball game, you may be wondering who the extremely zealous player is at the end of the starting line up’s roll call; the one who has dedicated a special handshake for every teammate and who gets riled up during the actual game. That student athlete is junior Maximilian DiLeo, more commonly called Max.
Track & Field Race at the NY Armory
The men and women’s track and field teams competed in the Lafayette/Rider Winter Games and the 107th Millrose Games this past weekend.
