Alumnae Carissa and Jaclyn Franzi both graduated from the University and have started their own cupcake business called Stuffed Enuff, where they create personalized cupcake orders to match any occasion.

If one thing’s for sure in the last few days of 2015, it’s that Creed will not having you fighting to leave the movie theater. The new rendition of the famous Rocky movies have fans and critics applauding director, Ryan Coogler, stars Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone, along with the entire cast and crew of the film.
Monmouth Bench Gains National Fame
The college basketball season may be young, however Monmouth University has a lot to celebrate. With recent wins over the No. 17 Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the University of Southern California Trojans at the Advocare Invitational basketball tournament over Thanksgiving, the team has gained the nation’s attention. However, the team’s most noise has been coming from their own bench rather than their fan base.
Men’s Basketball Stuns Nation
The Monmouth men’s basketball team returns home from the Advocare Invitational with two huge wins over no. 17 Notre Dame and University of Southern California. Their only loss throughout the tournament was to Dayton during the semi-finals. The tournament, presented by ESPN, was a weekend long event beginning Thursday, Nov. 26 and ending Sunday, Nov. 29.
Men’s Basketball Splits Trips To California
Monmouth men’s basketball team opened up their season with an 84-81 overtime win on the road at the University of California Los Angeles Friday night. The team traveled 3,000 miles across the country to become the first Hawk’s to beat a PAC-12 opponent in school history.
Men’s Basketball Gears Up for New Season
As the weather becomes colder, colleges all over the country head indoors to hit the court for one thing: practice. College basketball practice opened nationally Friday, Oct. 2 with the Monmouth Hawks Men’s team set to start Monday, Oct. 5.
Men’s Lacrosse lose to QU; One Game Left
The Hawks lost by a mere goal against conference opponent Quinnipiac of Saturday, April 18. MU senior Ryan Schwartz was the Hawks main scorer contributing two goals and an assist. Sophomore Zack Schliecher also made his presence on the field known with one goal and an assist. A late rally by the Bobcats had the Hawks see a final score as a 9-8 loss. This marks the Hawks fifth goal of the season that has been decided by one goal.
Sterling Impresses NFL Recruits at Pro Day
Miles Austin, Jose Gumbs, Chris Hogan: all former Hawks who continued to make names for themselves in the game of football. Since former Monmouth star Miles Austin found his way from the Jersey Shore to Dallas, TX, the NFL Draft process has found its way to West Long Branch, NJ.
The “Entourage” Boys are Back
The boys are back and, from the look of it, better than ever in the new trailer released from Warner Bros. and HBO Entertainment’s Entourage. It has been less than four years since the final episode of HBO’s hit series aired on Sept. 11, 2011 and they are ready to take the big screen for their first feature film on June 12, 2015.
Wasserman Sets Record in Hawks Win
Freshman Bryce Wasserman made six goals to help the men’s lacrosse team see a 10-7 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) win over the Canisius Golden Griffs on Saturday afternoon at Monmouth Stadium. Three of Wasserman’s six goals were scored in the fourth quarter giving the freshman a new career high.
