Sisters of Alpha Xi Delta Raise Money for Philanthropy
Alpha Xi Delta hosted their first annual Minute to Win It contest for autism awareness at Pollak Theatre on Tuesday, October 25 at 10:00 pm. The sorority raised $500 in ticket sales and all proceeds from the event went to the Autism Speaks organization.

West Long Branch, NJ The Monmouth Area Vegetarian Society (MAVS) is pleased to invite Monmouth students to a free screening of the award-winning documentary film “Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead.” The screening will take place at the University in the Magill Commons Club Lounge on Sunday, October 30, at 1:00 pm, and will be followed by a special Q&A with the film’s star and director, Joe Cross, of Australia. This event is cosponsored by the Monmouth University chapter of the PRSSA.

Club Hosts Their First Trip of the Year to Leigh River, PA
The Outdoors Club took 47 students to Leigh River, Pennsylvania this past weekend for two days of hiking, camping and kayaking. The $139 value of the trip only cost $60 a student and covered a ride there, food, campsite fees, a Whitewater Rafters Challengers experience and 100 shots at a paintball range.
