From my perspective, as president of Monmouth University, the gulf between the two competing models continues to widen.”

Softball Posts 7-10 Record After Break

The Monmouth softball team traveled to CA over spring break posting a 3-5 record and concluded the week with an overall season record of 7-10. In the final three games of the week, the Hawks fell to both San Diego State and UC Riverside, but achieved a come-from-behind victory over Dartmouth, adding one win and two losses to their record.

Track and Field Post Strong Finishes at ECAC/IC4A

The men and women’s track and field teams both had record finishes in the ECAC/IC4A Championships at Boston University this past weekend. The men placed fifth out of 100 teams and the women placed eighth out of 86 teams. These are the highest finishes at the ECAC/IC4As by both MU’s men and women in program history, marking a major milestone for the athletes, and the program.
