Nicole Riddle is a rising junior pursuing a major in Social Work and minor in Political Science. This is her second year writing and contributing to the Outlook, and she is looking forward to welcoming new members to the newspaper. Although she is not solely a journalist, she feels that the Outlook is a great environment to build professional relationships with faculty and nurturing writing and photography skills. When she is not working on Viewpoints or photography for the paper, she enjoys reading, working on portrait and landscape photography and writing.

Mehdi is a junior biology major with a concentration in molecular cell physiology minoring in Spanish and physics. Along with being Senior/News Editor, he serves as the President of the Student Government Association, Immediate Past President of the Honors School Association, School of Science Peer Mentor, and does cancer research. He looks forward to another year of work with The Outlook!

Nicholas is a junior Political Science major with a double-minor in English and Gender Studies. On campus, he is involved in The Outlook, he is also the President of the Student-Alumni Association, and a member of the University’s Model United Nations. Other than politics, Nicholas is also interested in law and government, science, and theology. He welcomes all students to take an interest in politics and to get involved, and believes that writing for the Politics column here at The Outlook is a great way to get started!

Natalie Ostermann is a senior majoring in Psychology and double minoring in English and Public Policy. Along with being Associate News Editor, Natalie is also involved with Psi Chi, the national psychology honors society, and will be acting Philanthropy Chair this upcoming school year. When not on campus, you can find Natalie at the beach working on her tan or at the nearest Dunkin Donuts getting her caffeine fix.

Caroline is a Captain of the Monmouth Women’s Tennis team and is the Social Media Director for Monmouth’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee (MSAAC). She loves the friends that she has made over the past two years working for The Outlook and looks forward to another great year!

Evan is a Senior at Monmouth University, majoring in Communication with a double concentration in both Public Relations/Journalism and Television/Radio. He is also pursuing a minor in Sports Communication and has covered Monmouth’s Men’s Soccer team exclusively as a Staff Writer for The Outlook since the Fall 2015 season. Evan is passionate about the growth of soccer in the United States and spent the summer working as a Content/Social Marketing Intern for FC Monmouth, who just completed their inaugural season in the National Premier Soccer League.

Mark Marrone is the Outlook’s Entertainment Editor. He is a Senior with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate. Mark has deep roots in the Monmouth community as a Resident Assistant in Laurel Hall, President of Phi Eta Sigma, Programing Chair of the Financial Planning Club, and even dabbles in intermural bowling. With his passion for movies, Mark tries to give exposure to all kinds of film from independent and art house to the blockbusters. His love for music spans from the guitar riffs of Springsteen to the angelic pop of Carly Rae Jepsen. Throughout the year, Mark and the Entertainment Team wish to bring readers a fresh perspective on film, music and the arts.

Cassandra Capozzi-Smith is a junior majoring in English & Elementary Education with an endorsement in P-3. She is from Rockaway, NJ and lives near the Monmouth University campus. Besides taking on the role of editor for the lifestyles section of The Outlook, she was an active staff writer during her sophomore year. Ray Romanski is the new Club and Greek Editor for 2018-2019.  He is a senior Communications major with concentrations in TV/Radio Production and also Journalism/PR.  He joined The Outlook during his junior year as a feature writer.  He’s also involved with WMCX 88.9, HawkTV, and the Gender Studies Club.  Ray is also a PLA on campus.  When he’s not writing or on air, he can be found at every concert around, watching movies, or surfing.
