Delaware’s Valentina Martorell tied the game for the Blue Hens, later being the goal that resulted in the game being forced into overtime.

With lots of back and forth scoring during the first 45 minutes, the game entered overtime after a goalless final quarter. Goalie for the Hawks, Jessie Eiselin, held off Delaware’s offense as she had five crucial saves how- ever not enough to stop the Blue Hens from securing the win and the CAA champion- ship title with 1:44 remaining in overtime as Lulu Fulton found the cage resulting in the 3-4 loss for the Hawks. They concluded their sea- son with a record of 12-7 and a total of 62 goals. The sea- son nor the program would have been what it was without the effort of the five seniors that included: Morgan Kato, India Shakespeare, Sofia Fouces, Johanna Karlhuber and Jess Tucker.
