Football Ranked Highest in Program History
Football was rewarded their highest national ranking in program history at No. 19 in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) following Saturday’s 45-21 dominance over fourth ranked Kennesaw State to gain full control of the Big South. The victory handed the Owls their worst home loss in program history while snapping a 17-game home winning streak.
Football Receives Votes for National Ranking
Hawks football improved their record to 6-2 and remained undefeated in conference play beating Charleston Southern on the road 35-13 behind a career-best day from junior running back Pete Guerriero who earned Big South Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Monmouth football bulldozed over the Runnin’ Bulldogs of Gardner-Webb in their Homecoming game on Saturday at Kessler Stadium by a score of 49-28 led by Big South Offensive Player of the Week, fifth year quarterback Kenji Bahar.

Women’s Golf Finishes Fourth
Women’s golf finished consecutive days of play by placing fourth out of 11 teams in the Hartford Invitational this past weekend. The Hawks finished only a lone shot out of third place as Farleigh Dickinson University (FDU) took home first in the event with a total score of 585.
Women’s Tennis Earns Two Wins to Kickstart Fall
The women’s tennis team went undefeated this past week winning back to back games at home by a score of 4-3 against Delaware State and St. Francis Brooklyn.
