Alpha Xi Delta’s “Football Frenxi” for Autsim Speaks
The University’s chapter of Alpha Xi Delta (AXiD) hosted their first annual “Football FrenXi” philanthropy event to raise money for their philanthropy, Autism Speaks on Saturday Sept. 27.

Greek Senate hosted the annual “Talent Show,” to mark the beginning of Greek Week. The talent show was hosted in Pollak Theater on April 21 at 9:30 pm.

Sigma Tau Gamma’s Spelling Bee Creates a Buzz on Campus
Fraternity Raises Over $1,500 for Special Olympics
Sigma Tau Gamma (STG) fraternity hosted their annual Greek event, “Sig Tau Spelling Bee,” on Wednesday, April 2 in Pollak Theatre. The event raised over $1,500 in support of their philanthropy, Special Olympics, to help support the athletes and build training centers for their Olympic games.

Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity Hosts Annual “Monmouth’s Got Talent” Greek Event in Pollak Theatre
Phi Kappa Psi (Phi Si) fraternity hosted “Monmouth’s Got Talent,” their annual Greek event, this past Wednesday, Feb. 19, in Pollak Theatre at 10 pm. The event was held to help raise over $2,000 for their national philanthropy, the Boys and Girls Club of America.

Alpha Omicron Pi Hosts First Philanthropy Event “The Ultimate Monmouth Match” in Pollak
The newest sorority on campus Alpha Omicron Pi (AOII) hosted “The Ultimate Monmouth Match” as their first University philanthropy event on Tuesday, Feb. 11. The event in Pollak theatre helped raise over $2,000 for Arthritis research.
A Cappella Group Sings Their Way to the University
The University’s newly founded a cappella group, The Sea Sharps, consisting of 14 female students, held their first concert “A Cappella Extravaganza” on Thursday, Dec. 5 in Woods Theatre.
University Raises over $1,000 for Brain Cancer Patient
The Student Government Association (SGA) hosted “Limitless Night,” an event raising $1,128.53 for 2011 alumnus Becca Baier whose mother was diagnosed with stage four brain cancer, this past Friday, Dec. 6, in Boylan Gymnasium.
Sorority Sisters Walk for Cancer
The University’s sororities volunteered at Monmouth Mall for the Monmouth St. Jude Gives Thanks Walk sponsored by the St. Jude Children’s Hospital for cancer research on Saturday, Nov. 23.
