Attempts to control copyright infringement and distribution is nothing new. The Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 criminalized services, with the purpose of circumventing measures that control access to copyrighted works.
In order to continue the fight against bias and effort to promote respect among all people, the University hosted the 7th annual “Break the Cycle: Be the Change” last Thursday.
One hundred fifty years after the American Civil War erupted between the Northern and Southern states, “Civil War Voices: Songs and Memoirs of Five Extraordinary Lives” was performed at the University to commemorate those affected by the war and bring new perspectives to history.
