The men’s tennis team finished its regular season by defeating the Quinnipiac Bobcats 6-1 on Friday, April 18. With the win, the Hawks finished the year with a 15-7 overall record while going 6-1 in MAAC play.

Softball Goes 3-1 Over Weekend Stint
The University’s softball team won three of their four games this past weekend against conference rivals Saint Peter’s Peacocks and Quinnipiac Bobcats. With the weekend results, MU now has a 14-17 overall record, including a 6-6 mark in MAAC play.
MAAC HONORS
The baseball team picked up two MAAC weekly awards officials announced on Tuesday.
Baseball Lose Series to Manhattan College
The baseball team lost a three game series to conference opponent, the Manhattan Jaspers, over the weekend. The Hawks are now 9-17 (5-5 MAAC) while the Jaspers improved to 7-23 (4-8 MAAC).
Golf Teams Head to Florida
The University golf teams began their seasons on Sunday, March 16 with the men competing in Port St. Lucie, FL while the women took to Williamsburg, VA. Since the beginning of their spring schedule, both teams post high individual marks in nearly every tournament played.
Track and Field Take Princeton
Teams Break Four School Records
The track and field team set four new school records and had many athletes meet ECAC/IC4A qualification times at the Princeton Quadrangular Meet which they participated in on Saturday, April 12.
LAX Cannot Overcome Deficit
The women’s lacrosse team rallied from a seven point deficit, but ultimately lost to the Drexel University Dragons 9-6, on Saturday, April 12 in their final non-conference game of the season. With the loss, MU falls to 6-7 (3-1 MAAC) as Drexel improves to 6-7 (1-1 CAA.)
The Global Understanding Convention Welcomed The Nation’s Sports Editor
The University hosted the sports editor of The Nation, Mr. David Zirin, during its 13th annual Global Understanding Convention last week.
