SAB Screens 13th and Leads Panel Discussion

On Tuesday, Jan. 31 the Student Activities Board hosted the screening of the Academy Award nominated documentary 13th, directed by Ava DuVernay. A panel discussion, consisting of two formerly incarcerated individuals, Mike Satterfield and Charita Easter-Fetor, followed the film.

Steel Magnolias Comes to Woods Theatre

The MU Players have been working hard to produce this year’s spring play, Steel Magnolias, at Woods Theatre.  With a few weeks until showtime, the cast and crew have spent weeks rehearsing.

Hazing Speaker Visits MU

Travis Apgar, an anti-hazing speaker from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, gave a speech last Thursday night, Sept. 20, to an audience of Greek members. His presentation highlighted the various forms and subsequent risks of hazing practices seen in colleges nationwide.
