Alexandria is a senior majoring in English with a Concentration in Creative Writing and double minoring in Spanish and Homeland Security. Ally enjoys writing, reading, art of every form, and loves making others happy. She is deeply involved in her life at Monmouth; she is the Lead Commuter Student Mentor, President of the Spanish Club, Vice President of the HERO Campaign, and Public Relations/Events Manager of The Verge. Joy is a senior, public relations and journalism student with a concentration in global sustainability. Joy is also Founder and President of the Youth Activists club, which promotes awareness, education, and action for social and environmental justice. Joy is also a radio DJ, and avid outdoors woman. Being a lover of wildlife, music, and people, Joy has found writing for the Outlook provides the perfect opportunity to spread important news of the good in the world, and use investigative journalism when issues lie hidden. Overall, peace, mindfulness, and caring, in all situations and behaviors is what Joy believes in most.

Hi everyone! My name is Zach Cosenza. I am a junior communication major with a concentration in journalism/public relations and a minor in sports communication. I’m also an EMT in my hometown and on campus. This is my third year at MU and The Outlook; my first as the Sports Editor. When it comes to sports, it is my life. I love watching/writing about all sports, with baseball being close to my heart. My dream is to one day be a beat writer for an MLB team, and if it was the Yankees, even better! Last year I was the Assistant Sports Editor to the great Johnny Baseball and this year I’ll be covering football, men’s basketball, and baseball teams among others. Nicole Riddle is a sophomore social work major and political science minor. She joined The Outlook after her mentor, Managing and Features Editor Ally Afanador, introduced her to the variety of ways she could contribute to the club. Nicole started out as a copy editor and staff writer, eventually earning the titles Viewpoints and Photography Editor. As a commuter, she is grateful for an organization that makes her feel closely tied to the campus community and looks forward to working on new issues and recruiting new staff members.

Matthew Aquino is a Fine Arts major with a concentration in Graphic Design and a minor in Interactive Media specializing in motion graphics and augmented reality. Matt is the Advertising Manager and associate Graphic Designer for the Outlook as well as current secretary of the Artist for Change club on campus. Matt only hopes for success in the young artists who join. He also enjoys distressing and creating clothing for his company in progress, Rudeinblaq. “The creation of a denim jacket is an artistic process almost like the creation of a painting.”

I am the advertising manager at The Outlook; I also am an administrator for the social media accounts, copy edit, photograph, and write articles. In between that, I scribble some poetry and admire the wonderful people around me.
