SIDELINES: 04/30/2014

The baseball team had a three game sweep over the Temple Owls this past weekend. Winning pitchers were sophomore Frank Trimarco, junior TJ Hunt, and junior Jeff Paglione.

Offense was led by junior center fielder Steve Wilgus who went 7-for-14, contributed four runs and had one RBI.


On Friday, April 25, senior second baseman Jake Gronsky became the 14th player in program history to reach 200 hits.


The women’s golf team finished fourth while the men’s golf team placed second in the MAAC Championships. The women were led by senior Michelle Rosenhouse who had a career-best finish at a conference tournament with a second place title. The men were led by junior Brady Goodling who placed second overall in competition.


The men’s soccer team has announced additional commitments for 2014. The men who are coming off their first MAAC Regular Season Championship title will add eight new Hawks to their roster.

These include midfielder/forward from Newark, NJ Miguel Alves; midfielder from Cranford, NJ Andrew Gee; goalkeeper of Ocean Township Chris Seager; midfielder Chris Nash from Franklin Lakes; midfielder from Westfield, NJ Leo O’Haus; forward Daniel Reilly from Denver, CO; midfielder from East Bruinswick Joey Gudzak; and midfielder/forward from Toms River Lorenzo Scala.
