Due to the recent hurricane activity and severe damage along the Gulf of Mexico, gas prices in New Jersey have risen more than $0.10 cents per gallon, which has left some state residents concerned about the correlation.
Monmouth University professors and students launched a new school year with a rally on Sept. 6 to support students’ rights to free speech and freedom from harassment.
University President Grey Dimenna will be extending his contract and serving until June 2019, instead of the originally-planned time frame of June 2018, according to an announcement on June 6, 2017.
Henni Kantor Kessler and John H. Kessler Stadium officially opened its doors to the public on Sept. 2 for the University football team’s first home game of the season against Lafayette College.
“Yes, we know you are in college, but if you look like a sloppy mess [on Facebook], we aren’t going to trust that you’ll make it into work at 5:00 am,” said Carla Marie Monica, Producer for New York’s popular radio station, Z100.
Once college is over, the real world begins. Starting a career you may have for the rest of your life, moving out, and eventually buying your own house. But, do you even know how to do that? What about taxes? What about insurance? All of these important details are vital in everyday life. So then, why is there not a class in college teaching students these skills?
Pencils? Check. Calculator? Check. Water bottle and granola bars? Check.
