What is it?
An annual message delivered by the President of the United States to a joint session of Congress. Mandated by the Constitution, the speech allows the President to report on the state of the nation and outline a legislative agenda for the coming year.

What is it?
The day in a presidential cycle when the most U.S. states hold primary elections. “Primaries” are the preliminary elections in which voters select candidates to represent their political party in the general election in November.

What is it?
The Supreme Court (SCOTUS) is the highest court in the land. When they hear “oral arguments,” they are listening to the final arguments before a ruling that becomes law for the whole country.
Arguments in Apr.; Decision by June 2026.
The court is weighing a case on Birthright Citizenship. The ruling will determine if children born in the U.S. to parents on student or work visas are automatically citizens. For international students and DACA recipients on campus, this is likely the biggest legal story of the decade.
