The Commuter Student Mentor (CSM) Program originated in 2015 with the goal to help first-year commuter students acclimate to Monmouth University smoothly. Fast-forward to today, the program has flourished into a service that offers a mentor personalized to any incoming commuter student who wishes to have one.

While the national discourse is able to influence many, the bounds with which social media is confined are nearly limitless. Logan Paul is an infamous YouTuber with over 16 million subscribers and over 5 million video views daily with a fanbase reaching an audience ranging from 6-20 years old.
New Year, New Organizational Strategies
As the new semester rounds out its first week, many of us are already starting to feel overwhelmed just looking at our syllabi, thinking about papers and exams that are only a few weeks away. As younger students, professors and faculty have always drilled into us that we should keep a planner, stay organized, and make sure to be on top of our assignments, readings, etc. There are many ways to stay on your “A” game this semester, and to make sure you have everything you need to get good grades and manage everything you want to do.

Mind Over Madness
The Commuter Student Mentor Program (CSM) in conjunction with Counseling and Psychological Services put together a destress event titled “Mind Over Madness” on Oct. 18. The event consisted of nearly 100 students flowing in and out of Anacon in search of delicious treats as well as games, coloring, and the famed “Proud Mom Fridge.”
Monmouth Sends Silence Packing
On Sept. 18, Send Silence Packing, an event with a display of 1,100 backpacks representing the 1,100 college students who commit suicide every year, finally came to Monmouth on its traveling tour.
