Over 50 students gathered in front of Lauren K. Woods Theatre to sing at the first ever “Karaoke Night” hosted by Boom Roasted Prductions on Friday, Sept. 20, from 5 to 7 pm.
Students participated in an event-filled weekend with the Residence Hall Association (RHA) for the annual Battle of the Buildings from Friday, Sept. 20 to Sunday, Sept. 22. The thirteen buildings competed for three days to be named champion, and this year Elmwood Hall took home the gold.
Entertainer Mike DuBois and performer in Broadway’s “Pippin”, Viktoria Grimmy, performed in the Residential Quad on Friday, September 13, at 4 pm at “Carnivale.”
National Council of Negro Women hosts Dance Party
Over 150 students celebrated the conclusion of “Welcome Week” with the Student Activities Board (SAB) at its annual “Monmouth Palooza” on Saturday, September 7 in the Residential Quad.
A convocation of executive leaders for Greek life at the University discussed the goals of a “Greekend” and future colonization of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity on Wednesday, September 9.

Monmouth University was erroneously ranked as the “eighth most dangerous college in the United States” in an original report by StartClass published on Tuesday, Feb. 3 and shared by various news outlets including Fox43. An error was then identified in the original survey on Tuesday, Feb. 17 and Monmouth has since been removed from the list exactly two weeks after the report was released.
