How can I wrap up the past four years in a short article? It’s truly impossible but I’ll try to be as concise as I can. The past four years have been wonderful. Monmouth University changed my life completely; I don’t even recognize my 18-year-old self when looking at pictures from freshman year.
Friday the 13 was anything but unlucky for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life at the University, as it raised approximately $43,027.
The 11th Annual Global Understanding Convention’s keynote address took place in Wilson Hall on Tuesday, April 3. The speech focused on this year’s theme of Freedom, Sustainability and Security: International Criminal Law and Human Rights.
The 21st Annual Scholarship Reception was held on Friday, March 30 at 3:00 pm in Wilson Hall. Administrators, faculty, staff, donors, scholarship recipients and their families gathered together to celebrate scholarships received.
A recent article featured in The Huffington Post listed the most successful careers and what majors to pursue in undergraduate studies. Titled “What the 1% Majored In,” the article focused on which majors land students in the top one percent of earners in the United States.
Hawk TV will be launching its new website on Wednesday, November 9 in hopes of promoting their programming and events.
The University’s Public Relations Society of America chapter will be holding a panel discussion featuring three online news professionals and two public relations professionals on Tuesday, October 25 in the Magill Club Dining Room.
She puts on her shoes and her sweater, and gives her reflection in the mirror a last glance. She stops, looks flustered, and lets out a big sigh. “I look terrible,” she says. She looks perfect to me. Elizabeth Pepe, junior, is going on a first date, and has spent the last two hours getting ready to “make sure everything goes smooth and perfect,” she says.
An Alternative Spring Break had its pilot run last semester which allowed 12 students from different academic backgrounds to travel to Guatemala and volunteer at a local clinic.
For over 41 years, Bertha Hughes dedicated her whole life to our University. In those four decades, she accumulated 250 sick days without using a single one of them. According to Evelyn Herrera, a custodian in the Plangere Center, “the University was her everything.”
