Women’s Soccer Falls to Rider in Conference Opener
Women’s soccer played their first Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) game of the season away to Rider on Sunday at Ben Cohen Field where they were defeated by a goal to nil.

Softball crushed preseason Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) favorite Fairfield University with a 6-0 shutout in game one, and 8-2 in game two in opening games of the MAAC conference on Saturday afternoon.
Allie Wilson Breaks School Record
After bringing home two more Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championship titles to add to the already decorated reputation that the Monmouth University track and field team has, the Hawks brought that same energy to the Fastrack Last Chance meet in Staten Island, N.Y. and Boston, MA this past Saturday and Sunday Feb. 24 & 25.
Track and Field Wins Conference Championship
The men and women’s track and field team of dominated in their fifth Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Indoor Championship this weekend at the 168th Street Armory in New York City, and brought back another championship; with the women’s team bringing home their fifth straight championship and the men bringing back their fourth championship in the last five years.
Track and Field Competes at Fastrack and Iowa State
Monmouth’s track and field team is at it again, with even more championship qualifications. The Hawks had very impressive statistics during last week’s meets in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania at the Scarlet & White Invitational, the Crimson Elite, and the Villanova Invitational, and it’s clear that the team’s momentum followed them to the Fastrack National Invite at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Friday, Feb. 9. Meanwhile, at the Iowa State Classical, fifth-year Dylan Capwell and graduate student Chris Marco competed against nationally ranked competition.
Track and Field Posts Impressive Marks at Three Meets
After breaking three school records while in Penn State and competing at home, Monmouth University track and field sent some of their athletes from the team up to Boston, Massachusetts to compete in both the Scarlet and White Invitational at Boston University and Crimson Elite at Harvard University. Others on the team competed at the Villanova Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Win Home Meet
The Monmouth Hawks track and field team returned to their home track at the OceanFirst Bank Center this weekend on Jan. 26 and 27, while some of the Hawks traveled to State College, PA to compete in the Penn State National Invitational.
