The Monmouth University women’s lacrosse team reigned victorious over Long Island University (1-3) and Central Connecticut State University (0-4), making them undefeated in the 2020 season.
The Monmouth University women’s lacrosse team opened their 2020 season with an 11-5 win over Sacred Heart University on Saturday Feb. 15. This is the second time the team has won their opening game in the last three seasons under head coach Jordan Trautman.
University Advancement accomplished a lot in the past fiscal year. Between June 30, 2018 and July 1, 2019 the Donor Impact Report states that the University received more than $15.4 million in gifts, pledges, and planned gifts. This is an over 65 percent increase compared to the previous year in which $9.3 million was committed.
The Monmouth University men’s and women’s track & field teams competed at the Dr. Sander Invitational, hosted by Columbia University as well as the Boston Terrier Classic, hosted by Boston University this past weekend [Jan. 24 & 25].
The Monmouth University men’s and women’s swimming teams opened up their Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play against Fairfield University this Saturday, Oct. 26 at Leslie C. Quick RecPlex Pool. The men’s team pulled through with a close 154.5 – 133.5 victory, while the women’s team fell to Fairfield 105 – 189.
The Monmouth University women’s soccer team is now on a seven game winning streak after adding two shutout wins against Siena College and Canisius College this week. The Hawks won 1-0 against Siena in double overtime this past Wednesday, Oct. 9 and then had a 6-0 victory over Canisius on Saturday, Oct. 12.
The Monmouth University women’s soccer team kicked off Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play on Saturday Sept. 21 with a 3-1 win over rival Saint Peter’s University. This win makes them undefeated in conference play so far (1-0-0) and improved their overall record to 3-2-2.
The Monmouth University women’s soccer team acquired their third and fourth consecutive shutouts this week. Their match against Drexel University on Thursday, Sept. 12 ended with a scoreless tie. Later in the week they amped things up for their match against the nationally ranked No. 25 school, the University of Texas on Saturday, Sept. 15 emerging with a 4-0 victory.
The Monmouth University women’s soccer team is back at it again picking up their first win of the 2019 season this past Friday night, Sept. 6, against the Farleigh Dickenson University (FDU) Knights at University Stadium in Teaneck, NJ.
Last week, Softball added one win to their record, but it was followed by three straight losses as the Hawks split at Lafayette in a doubleheader last Wednesday before falling to Marist in another road doubleheader on Friday.
