The University’s Residence Hall Association (RHA), Student Activities Board (SAB), and Alpha Xi Delta (AXiD) teamed up for a co-sponsored Holiday Craft Party last Friday, Dec. 5, in Mullaney Hall.

Competing for the Crown: Delta Tau Delta’s “Delta Queen”
Sorority women across campus are competing for the crown and title of Delta Queen, a competition recently created by Delta Tau Delta (DTD), in hopes of finding a sweetheart for their fraternity. Organizations participating include: Alpha Omicron Pi (AOPi), Alpha Sigma Tau (AST), Alpha Xi Delta (AXiD), Delta Phi Epsilon (DPhiE), Phi Sigma Sigma (PhiSig), and Zeta Tau Alpha (ZTA).

Threat Analysis Group Plans to Increase Club Involvement
Threat Analysis Group (TAG) President Michael Tilton announced new plans to change the club’s dynamic and further integrate the organization within the University community on Wednesday, Nov. 19. He said the club aims to implement these plans during the Spring 2015 semester.
Mock Trial Program to Host Inaugural “Hawk” Invitational
What started in the fall of 2012 as a small group of students interested in law school with a background in high school mock trial has developed at Monmouth University into a strong intercollegiate forensic program – one that prepares students for legal advocacy and trial procedure and more importantly, for life after Monmouth. For the first time in its three-year program, and with the assistance of the pre-law club, the Monmouth mock trial team will host its first invitational tournament this weekend (December 6-7).
Panhellenic Council Passes “Limited Frills” Recruitment
Sorority recruitment will be taking place this spring, leading unaffiliated University women into the Greek community. However, the Panhellenic Council, the governing body that oversees formal sorority recruitment, is taking a different approach to the formal recruitment process this spring. The council voted to instate “limited frills” recruitment, and passed the motion.
Sorority Bingo Night Gives Girls Closer Look at Greek Life
The Panhellenic Council hosted Bingo Night Friday, Nov. 14, in Anacon Hall to give students an opportunity to get to know each different sorority organization the University has to offer.
