MU Mob Packs the MAC During MAC Madness
Basketball games are won and lost on the hardwood floor between the players but there is more that goes on behind-the-scenes than most people would think. The coaches and athletes prepare both physically and mentally for the game ahead while they endure tough practices in hopes to win. However, the crowd and loyal fans also prepare and brace themselves for the game.
Men’s Soccer Improves to 6-0-1 in MAAC
The men’s soccer team continued their hot streak this past week as they beat the Saint Peter’s Peacocks and Quinnipiac Bobcats on Wednesday, Oct 23 and Saturday, Oct 26.
Field Hockey Splits Weekend Games at Home
The Hawks field hockey team split their conference home games this week, beating the Sacred Heart University Pioneers, but falling to the Quinnipiac University Bobcats in the following game. This week’s games pushed the Hawk’s record to 6-10 overall and 3-1 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Women’s Soccer are No. 1 Seed in MAAC
The women’s soccer team went 1-0-1 for the weekend as they defeated the St. Peter’s Peacocks on Wednesday, Oct. 23 with a final score of 3-0 and tied in double overtime against the Quinnipiac Bobcats on Saturday, Oct. 26. As the Hawks completed their final regular season games, their overall record is secured at 14-1-2 while their Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) record stands at 8-0-2.

Senior forward Dana Costello was named to the women’s CollegeSoccer360.com Primetime Performers List for Week 9. Costello was also awarded the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week.
Football Gets Back to .500 with Homecoming Win
The Hawks (4-4) defeated the Cornell Big Red (1-4) on Homecoming Saturday, Oct. 19 afternoon at Kessler Field by the final score of 48-23. Junior quarterback Brandon Hill led the way with 308 passing yards, and four touchdowns. Senior running back Kwabena Asante also helped the team as he ran for 171 yards and two touchdowns.
Women’s Soccer Perfect at Home
MU women’s soccer defeated Rider University Broncs on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at The Great Lawn with a final score of 3-0. With the win, the blue and white improve to 12-1-1 in the season, 6-0-1 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and 8-0 at home.
Bowen and Eller Lead Team in Princeton Invitational
The men and women’s cross country teams fought hard in the annual Princeton Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 19 placing sixteenth and eleventh respectively. It was the fifth and final regular season meet for both squads, who now have officially completed their first season in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). The Hawks will build off of this final race to prepare for the championship meets ahead as the Invitational marked one of their tougher meets of the season,
