Highlighting the interconnected lives of southern women as ‘as delicate as magnolias but as tough as steel,’ the University’s Department of Music and Theatre proudly presents Robert Harling’s touching 1987 dramatic comedy, Steel Magnolias, directed by Dr. John Burke.
Editor’s Note: Recently, The Outlook attended the Associated Collegiate Press College Journalism Convention in Seattle, WA. While there, they had the oppurtunity to see an advance screening of the suspense-thriller, Silent House, opening on March 9.
Joan and Robert Rechnitz Hall became home to the second, and final, segment of the Senior Art Exhibition, which took place from April 12 to the 19. While the first senior show displayed works by graduating students majoring, particularly, in computer graphics and animation, the second showcase had several works by seniors who will be graduating at the end of the semester with a degree in fine arts.
