People may think of bullying as an act meant to intimidate another person, but may have specific views on how it is done. This could be the classic thought of a popular scene from a movie such as Spiderman where a man waits to fight him in the cafeteria. The reality is, bullying does not end after high school and is just as likely to happen on a college campus.

Football Can’t Get Over the Hill, Lose to Lehigh 28-25
In a game that had several lead changes and some late-game dramatics, Monmouth University’s football team lost their home opener, 28-25, to NCAA #19 Lehigh University Mountain Hawks on Saturday, September 14. MU falls to 0-3 with the loss while Lehigh improves to 2-0.

Competes in third overtime game and gains first victory
The Hawks earned their first win against the Villanova Wildcats at the Great Lawn on Wednesday, September 11. Sophomore midfielder Tomas Penfold scored within the first minute of overtime to finish the game with a score of 2-1.
Field Hockey Wins Home Opener Over Lehigh, 4-2
After a tough loss to nationally ranked #11 Temple University, the field hockey team concluded their four game road trip by competing in their home opener on Sunday, September 16. Taking on the Lehigh University Mountain Hawks at “So Sweet A Cat Field,” the MU Hawks claimed their first win of the season.
Women’s Soccer Improves to 6-1
On Sunday night at 6 pm, the Hawks defeated Fairleigh Dickinson University by a score of 1-0. The contest not only marked the women’s soccer teams sixth win, but it also noted their final non-conference game of the season. The lone goal was scored in the 80th minute of play by senior forward Monique Plescia. With the win, the blue and white post their fifth shutout of the season.
