Behind an offensive onslaught of five homeruns, the MU softball team swept the Manhattan Jaspers on Sunday by scores of 8-0, and 10-7.

The women’s lacrosse team had their undefeated conference record snapped on Saturday when they fell to the Canisius Golden Griffins by a score of 19-6 in Buffalo, NY.

It was bitterly cold and consistently raining for the women’s lacrosse team’s senior day on Saturday, however that did not stop their offensive onslaught of conference rivals Quinnipiac, as the Hawks took down the Bobcats by a score of 15-6.

The MU softball team finished up a demanding week on the road on Sunday when they split with the Fairfield Stags after previously sweeping both Quinnipiac and Iona, putting them at the top of the MAAC with a 7-1 conference record.

The men’s tennis team took home two conference wins this past weekend, defeating the Siena Saints, 6-1 on Saturday, Apr. 9 and Fairfield, 7-0 on Sunday, Apr. 10.

Behind five goals netted by sophomore attacker Alexa Smith, the MU women’s lacrosse team defeated Niagra University 15-11 at Kessler field on Sunday, improving to 6-5 on the season and 2-0 in MAAC play.

The MU men’s tennis team opened MAAC Conference play with a win against the Niagra Purple Eagles on Saturday by a score of 6-1.

The women’s lacrosse team started their 2016 conference play by battling for a victory over the Siena Saints 16-15 on Saturday at the Siena Turf Field in Loudonville, NY.

The MU men’s lacrosse team dominated Manhattan College for their first MAAC victory in the 2016 season Saturday, winning 10-5 in a game in which they never trailed.
