This week, the Iota Theta chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi will be spreading awareness for their national philanthropy, The Arthritis Foundation.

On Thursday, April 8, the Tenacious Tau Eta chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated hosted their annual Mr. Pink and Green pageant. After several rounds of the pageant, the hosts of the event determined that Mitchell Hendricks would be named this year’s Mr. Pink and Green.
The mecca of college students may not be multi-story brick academic buildings or residence halls where you can hear the near-constant chatter of students. For many students, it’s the on-campus dining facilities, where they receive the nourishment they need to power through seemingly endless lectures and all-nighters in the library.
On March 29, the sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated kicked off their ten year anniversary celebration, “Skee Week,” with an informative event called, “Lethal Dollars: What’s Your Five Year Plan?”
April is Autism Awareness month, which means that for the next few weeks, the sisters of Alpha Xi Delta’s Iota Nu chapter will be bringing awareness to the developmental disorder that affects approximately 1 in 45 adults.
On Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, the sisters of Chi Upsilon Sigma hosted an event called “I Can’t Hear You” as a way to bring awareness to the effects of COVID-19 on the deaf and hearing-impaired communities.
When thinking of Greek life at Monmouth University, what immediately comes to mind is probably the thrill of sorority recruitment, the excitement of entering a brotherhood, endless philanthropy events and a sense of community.
