The semi-annual Meet the Greeks took place on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 9:30 pm in Anacon Hall. It was an opportunity for 300 students to meet members of all Greek Life organizations before formal recruitment which takes place next weekend.
Hour long lines of University students filled the Rebecca Stafford Student Center (RSSC) on Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 1 – 4 pm waiting to get their hands on a personalized electronic skin hosted by the Student Activities Board (SAB) for their third novelty event.

The Student Government Association (SGA) hosted “Limitless Night,” an event raising $1,128.53 for 2011 alumnus Becca Baier whose mother was diagnosed with stage four brain cancer, this past Friday, Dec. 6, in Boylan Gymnasium.
Student Activities Board (SAB) hosted The Cash Attack, a “Deal or No Deal” game show spin off, in which participants of all ages were able to win up to $250 on Friday, Dec. 6.
Greek Life teamed up with Macy’s last week and held the Macy’s Event, which was aimed towards helping girls learn how to do their makeup for careers and interviews, and then how to transition makeup for a “going out” look. The event took place in Anacon Hall on Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 6 – 8 pm.
The University’s Shadow PR Firm and the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapter hosted and welcomed their second guest speaker of the semester, Jennifer Sneed, on Wednesday Nov. 20 at 2:30 pm in the Jules L. Plangere Center for Communication.
The University’s sororities volunteered at Monmouth Mall for the Monmouth St. Jude Gives Thanks Walk sponsored by the St. Jude Children’s Hospital for cancer research on Saturday, Nov. 23.
