The Hawks (9-6; 7-0) came back and defeated Quinnipiac (5-8; 3-3) on Friday afternoon at Kessler Field. The final score was 11-7. Senior midfielder Sam Savona led the way for MU, tying a career-high with four goals on the day, including three in the second half. Junior midfielder Kaleigh Gibbons also had four points on three goals and an assist.

The softball team returned to conference play over the weekend, dropping two games in a double header to Robert Morris University before rebounding to sweep Wagner University in a double header on Sunday.
The baseball team scored 48 runs in a four game sweep against Northeast Conference rival, Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers(MSM) this past weekend.
The Hawks (5-6, 3-0) defeated Mount Saint Mary’s (3-8, 2-1) Friday 8-5 to remain unbeaten in Northeast Conference (NEC) play. MU, who led the entire game, had a balanced attack and a strong defensive effort to win their third straight game.
The Hawks Track and Field opened their spring season with the 18th Annual Monmouth Season Opener. The two-day meet included 20 teams and 1,038 athletes.
The softball team picked up three wins over the weekend in double headers against Quinnipiac University Friday and Sacred Heart University Saturday, pushing the Hawks to 15-10 on the season and 6-2 in the NEC.
