After breaking three school records while in Penn State and competing at home, Monmouth University track and field sent some of their athletes from the team up to Boston, Massachusetts to compete in both the Scarlet and White Invitational at Boston University and Crimson Elite at Harvard University. Others on the team competed at the Villanova Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.

Men’s basketball lost to the Fairfield Stags and the Niagara Purple Eagles by a combined six points on Friday and Saturday.

Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Win Home Meet
The Monmouth Hawks track and field team returned to their home track at the OceanFirst Bank Center this weekend on Jan. 26 and 27, while some of the Hawks traveled to State College, PA to compete in the Penn State National Invitational.
Monmouth’s Club Hockey Team in Midst of Season
The Monmouth University ice hockey team is currently in the midst of their season, posting an overall record of 2-15-1-3 (W-L-T-OTL) and a conference record of 2-8-1-3. The team is part of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), which is made up of about 300 schools and is currently in their third season as a member of the Colonial States College Hockey Conference (CSCHC). Some of their opponents within the conference include Princeton University, Seton Hall University, and The College of New Jersey.
Men’s Basketball Goes 2-1 in Five Days
Men’s basketball lost to the Rider Broncs 92-82 on Monday night after the Hawks beat the Siena Saints and the Marist Red Foxes.
Women’s Basketball Falls to St. Peters and Manhattan
Coming off of their largest victory of the season, the Monmouth women’s basketball team dropped two games on the road, both by double digits.

Senior Spotlight: Men’s Soccer Midfielder Colin Stripling
The college soccer career of senior midfielder Colin Stripling came to a close as he and the Monmouth men’s soccer team ended their season with a 4-0 win over Niagara at Hesse Field on the Great Lawn on Nov. 1.
