Why can’t the time period for back to school have more glamour, some more glitz? Everything can be cured with a little glitter. Glitter just isn’t for holidays, you know. It also doesn’t help that Billy Madison isn’t singing to us about going back to school, with our lunches packed up and our boots tied tight (I’m not ashamed that I know the lyrics). Whether we like it or not, it is time to get back on that academic grind.

Looking for a Summer Job Leaves Employees Sunburned
The time is approaching where we all need to fill out some more applications. I’m not talking college applications (thank goodness that is over with) but I’m talking about summer job applications. College students are scrambling to find summer jobs to make a little bit of cash before the next school year. But it isn’t that easy. Applying for a summer job can be incredibly stressful.
What Studying Really Means to Students
What is this action called “studying?” For some reason the utterance of the word alone just causes me to feel depressed. Thanks to my handy-dandy pocket dictionary, I looked up what “studying” actually means:
Beyoncé’s Blue Baby
We all know how ridiculously famous Beyoncé is: there is no one out there that doesn’t know of her existence. She can even make grocery shopping look fierce.
Put This in Your Coffee Cup
If there is one thing about college that makes me cringe at the very sound of its utterance, it’s the sound of my 7:30 am alarm screeching, trying to wake my drowsy college butt up from bed. For some college students, that sound makes us take our pillows and throw them over our heads.
Calling All Gagas and Beyonces
Everyone knows why women buy super high heels, right? It’s because they are drop-dead gorgeous, and as an added bonus, they make our legs look awesome. Taking this into account, we add the factor of walking in super-mega-high heels on campus; the sum of this equation just spells “ouch.” College girls always wear high heels when they go out, and some may even wear them to class. Girls need to have at least two solid pairs of high heels…or maybe eight. I guess it all depends. But in college, heels go with outfits like Oreos go with peanut butter (Parent Trap reference intended).
“It’s Not You, It’s Me”
Relationships are probably one of the trickiest things to try to prioritize when entering the college realm, especially if you can’t help but be on cloud nine with your significant other. Some people want their relationships from high school and/or summer romance to last through college, but unfortunately, that usually doesn’t work out.
